This page explains the cookies and local storage KankorAsan uses. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your settings, and to measure use of the platform. We run no third-party advertising networks and we do not sell what we measure.

Sign-in and session cookies keep you authenticated between pages and protect the sign-in form against forgery. Turning these off means you cannot use an account.

Your language (Dari, Pashto or English), your light or dark theme, and small study settings such as your daily goal are stored in your browser so the platform opens the way you left it. These stay on your device.

We record which pages and features are used, on an aggregate basis, together with a session identifier, device type and IP address. It tells us which features earn their place and where students get stuck. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

KankorAsan may show its own notices and offers — a premium offer, or an announcement from a partner institute. Whether one was shown or opened is recorded against a session identifier so the same notice does not follow you around. This is measured by us, on our own servers; no third-party advertising network is involved.

Your browser can block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking the necessary ones signs you out and keeps you out. Clearing preferences resets your language and theme, not your study data — that lives on your account, not in the browser.
